New Resource CD on Participatory Approaches, Methods and Tools
The FAO Participation Website Team produced a resource CD with the two most frequently visited sections of the
FAO Participation Website as to facilitate the dissemination of participatory approaches, documents and field tools.
The CD includes:
A database of participatory approaches, methods and field tools, developed or applied by FAO and other organizations.
A selection of FAO documents extracted from the Participation Website's annotated library database and sorted according to different category lists. The publications are available as full-text documents in either PDF, HTML or Microsoft Word format.
The Participation Website was established in 1999 by the Informal Working Group on Participatory Approaches and Methods to Support Sustainable Livelihoods and Food Security (IWG-PA). The site is an interactive forum to share and exchange resources, knowledge and information on participation in development. It is available in four languages: English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
